Student Council

Student Council gives students a platform to allow the voice of the Student Body to be heard. At Freedom Middle School (FMS), Student Council is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. However, the Office of President is usually reserved for an 8th grader. The organization is conducted by student leaders and supervised by adult sponsors. The purpose of Student Council is to provide leadership, and to serve the student body, the school, and the community.

Most of the projects completed by Freedom Middle Student Council are service-oriented. Student Council final projects will include participating in serving the Teachers/Staff during Teacher Appreciation Week, Raise Funding for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Raise funding for College Flags to be placed on Rams Way.

Of course students are our key players; however, ALL HANDS ON DECK are needed for our final adventures. All stakeholders are asked to assist FMS in making each project a grandiose experience. Our success will rest on the shoulders of everyone’s support and commitment. To lend a helping hand or donations, please contact Mrs. Crew at 678-874-8738.
